The New York Yankees are a Major League baseball team based in The Bronx, New York City. They
are one of five teams that play in the Eastern Division of the American League. The Yankees have also been known as the Baltimore
Orioles (1901-1902) and New York Highlanders (1903-1910).
The Yankees are my Favorite sports team period.They have been my faviorite ever since was born.I
went to my first yankees game when I was 2 years old.As long as remember I have wanted to play for the yankees.They are the
ones with the most World Series titles.The magic number is 26 until they win this year.Last year sadly they lost to the detroit
tigers in the first round after a great season.
Their biggest rival is the boston red sox.Their was also a so called curse on the boston
red sox untill they won a couple years ago.The playoff round before the world series they beat the Yankees after the they
were down 3 games it was pure luck that they did that.
